MM in Music Technology, May 2017 cumulative GPA 3.90

NYU Music Technology Music Thesis, New York, NY – 2016-2017
Synthesized collision sounds for rigid object impacts for video games. Used linear modal analysis to accurately emulate variations in sound determined by object material and geometry.

Relevant Course Work

Game Audio – Studied sound design and implementation in games. Focused on traditional sample playback as well as procedural methods for real-time sound generation.
C Coding – Covered the basics of C in addition to DST concepts and their applications. Designed a program prototype that developed musical motifs to match a desired emotion for game implementation.
Java Music Systems – Focused on developing generative music algorithms. Developed a program prototype capable of responding to emotion and energy parameters, producing adaptive music.

Max – Used Max/MSP/Jitter to create Echolocation, an interactive sonic experience using live processing of the user’s voice to explore a 3D environment.

Yale University, New Haven, CT
